North Dakota Department of Transportation seeks bids for hay harvesting along highways
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is opening the door for entrepreneurs in the farming industry by seeking bids for the harvesting of hay on specified sections of the highway right of way along Interstate 94 and Interstate 29. The bids are for the 2023 haying season.
The department has authorized sealed bids in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Valley City, and Dickinson district offices, which must be submitted on or before Thursday, June 8, at 1 p.m. local time. Bidders are required to obtain the Request for Bid document, a copy of the Risk Management Appendix, and sample certificate of liability insurance, which can be obtained by contacting the respective NDDOT district office.
The awarded bidder will sign a contract with NDDOT agreeing to the terms for hay harvesting. The department is keen on working with passionate, experienced, and well-equipped contractors to guarantee efficiency, effectiveness, and quality services.
