Investigation underway after car fire damages nearby garage

Fargo, North Dakota – A car fire that caused significant damage to a neighboring garage is currently under investigation by local authorities.

The incident was reported at approximately 2:15 a.m. on Friday, July 14, occurring on the 1500 block of 5th St. N.

According to fire department officials, the vehicle has been declared a complete loss. Additionally, the heat emanating from the fire resulted in the melting of the siding on the adjacent garage.

Dispatch records indicate that emergency crews remained at the scene for a duration of roughly ninety minutes.

With the car having been inactive for a considerable period, the fire department is now investigating the cause of the fire.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in relation to this incident.
