Fargo, North Dakota – West Acres Mall has exciting news to share with its shoppers. The popular Iowa-based department store Von Maur will be opening its doors in the spring of 2025, occupying the vacant space left by Herberger’s.
Brad Schlossman, CEO of West Acres, expressed his enthusiasm for this new addition, highlighting the long-standing relationship the mall has built with Von Maur over the past decade.
This lease agreement marks a significant milestone for West Acres, representing the most significant partnership in nearly 45 years, since the mall’s expansion with the JC Penny wing in 1979.
The new Von Maur department store will encompass approximately 90,000 square feet on the mall’s west side. Following the closure of Herberger’s in 2018, the space has remained vacant until now.
Construction is scheduled to commence this summer, encompassing a complete remodeling of both the interior and exterior areas.
Von Maur is renowned for offering an extensive range of high-quality clothing, accessories, and home goods, making it an exciting addition to West Acres Mall.
