Fargo Public Library and local gardening group unite for community garden initiative
Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Public Library, in partnership with the local gardening organization Growing Together, is extending an open invitation to the public for assistance in preparing the community garden plots.
The collaboration marks an exciting initiative aimed at encouraging local participation in community gardening.
Mark your calendars for June 1st, as the Fargo Public Library has arranged a Planting Day event, beginning at 10 a.m.
This collaboration will see Growing Together assisting in the planting, upkeep, and harvesting of the library’s community garden plots.
In an effort to be inclusive, the library has emphasized that this event welcomes individuals of every age and skill level.
In addition to the Planting Day event, recurring weekly volunteer sessions have been organized throughout the summer, each scheduled for Thursdays at 10 a.m.
These gatherings will provide the community with an ongoing opportunity to engage in this gardening initiative.
