During the ceremony, Mayor Josh Boschee and City Commissioners Nikkie Gullickson and Chad Peterson will officially be sworn into their positions.

The three officials were elected by Fargo voters during the municipal election held on June 9. Although their four-year terms officially began on Wednesday, July 1, the public swearing-in ceremony will provide an opportunity for residents to witness the formal oath of office.

The ceremony will take place as part of the regular City Commission meeting and is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

City officials encourage residents to participate in the event as Fargo welcomes its newly elected leadership for the next four years. The ceremony marks the official public beginning of Mayor Boschee’s administration alongside Commissioners Gullickson and Peterson as they prepare to serve the community during their new terms in office.
