Police ask assistance from the public in the search for missing Fargo teenager

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Police Department is asking residents for help in locating a missing teenage girl who was last seen in the city late Friday afternoon.

Authorities say the missing girl has been identified as Jaela Cumurovic, a 16-year-old who disappeared from the south Fargo area. Investigators are now urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward as efforts to locate the teen continue.

Police Ask Community for Help in Locating Teen

According to the Fargo Police Department, Jaela Cumurovic was last seen on Friday, March 13, at approximately 5 p.m. in the southern part of Fargo. Since that time, authorities have not been able to determine where she may have gone, and officers are asking the public to stay alert for any sign of the teenager.

Officials described the case as a MISSING RUNAWAY” and shared several details in hopes that someone may recognize the teen or recall seeing her.

At the time she was last seen, Jaela was wearing a black sweater and blue jeans, clothing that investigators say could help members of the public identify her if they encounter someone matching her description.

Police also released additional physical details about the teen to assist in the search. Jaela Cumurovic is 16 years old, stands about 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, but officials say the priority is ensuring the teenager’s safety and locating her as quickly as possible.
