Lucky week for North Dakota Lottery players as one wins $150,000 Powerball prize and four others hit 2by2 jackpots

Bismarck, North Dakota – North Dakota Lottery officials say a wave of lucky wins has swept across the state over the past week, with several players walking away with significant prizes in both Powerball and the 2by2 lottery game. In total, one player secured a $150,000 Powerball with Power Play prize while four others claimed $22,000 jackpots in the popular 2by2 daily game.

The wins occurred over several days and were spread across multiple communities, highlighting what lottery officials describe as a particularly fortunate stretch for players throughout North Dakota.

Powerball Player Wins $150,000 Prize

The largest win during the week came from a Powerball ticket that matched four white balls and the Powerball during the Monday, March 9 drawing. The winning numbers were 22, 23, 28, 36, and 54 with Powerball 13 and Power Play 3.

Normally, matching four white balls and the Powerball would result in a $50,000 prize. However, because the player also purchased the Power Play option, the prize was multiplied to a total of $150,000.

Lottery officials confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased using the North Dakota Lottery’s Pick & Click online play service. The ticket belongs to an anonymous player from Bottineau who had not yet claimed the prize at the time the announcement was made.

The Pick & Click service allows players to purchase tickets online through the lottery’s website or mobile application. Participants can buy tickets for individual drawings, multiple drawings, or subscribe for several weeks at a time.

Four Players Win 2by2 Jackpots

In addition to the major Powerball win, four other players across North Dakota also experienced big luck through the 2by2 game. Each of those tickets captured the game’s $22,000 jackpot prize.

The winning tickets were sold on March 3, March 4, March 6, and March 9.

The retailers that sold the winning tickets include Cenex located at 209 4th Ave SW in Garrison, Hornbacher’s Osgood at 4151 45th St. South in Fargo, Petro Serve USA on West Main Street in Valley City, and Berger’s Landing Strip at 100 A Avenue in Emerado.

Each of the retailers will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning 2by2 tickets.

Lottery officials confirmed that two of the jackpot prizes have already been claimed by anonymous players from Fargo and Rogers, North Dakota.

“The lottery luck continues in North Dakota” said Thomas Lawler, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “Over the past three months, North Dakota Lottery players have won thirteen $22,000 2by2 jackpots, and two $150,000 Powerball prizes. 2by2 has had 763 jackpot winners and 32 Tuesday Doubler jackpot winners since the game launched in early 2006.”

Players who win lottery prizes in North Dakota have up to 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings.

Lottery officials also noted that the Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, March 11 drawing stood at $58 million. Meanwhile, the 2by2 game continues to hold daily drawings with a fixed jackpot prize of $22,000.
