Sheriff’s Office investigates armed robbery of mail carrier in Fargo area
Fargo, North Dakota – An uncommon robbery incident unfolded just south of Fargo, prompting a swift response from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. At approximately 11:15 on Monday morning, law enforcement authorities were alerted to an armed robbery in the Frontier area, situated just south of Fargo.
Sheriff Jesse Jahner confirmed that the victim of the crime was a mail carrier, who had fallen victim to an armed assailant. According to a witness account, the perpetrator, driving a gray or dark-colored passenger vehicle, wielded a handgun during the robbery.
The suspect, described as a black male standing approximately 6 feet tall with a slender physique, had fled the scene prior to the arrival of the responding deputies.
