Public helps police arrest suspect in Fargo stabbing incident

Fargo, North Dakota – Following tips from the public, the Fargo Police Department successfully apprehended a man suspected of engaging in a serious assault.

Willshaun Boxley, 42, was taken into police custody late on Tuesday night. Boxley was sought for an incident involving aggravated assault and terrorizing, which left one person severely injured.

The incident in question took place around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting law enforcement to respond to a disturbance call in the 1300 block of 32nd Street South.

The disturbance was reported to involve a knife, leading to a person being hospitalized with serious injuries. The condition of the victim remains unknown.

The police confirmed that Boxley and the victim were acquainted, implying that this was not a random act of violence.

Earlier, the Fargo Police Department had made a public appeal for information pertaining to Boxley’s whereabouts. The department greatly appreciates the public’s assistance, which led to Boxley’s apprehension.
