Fargo police and SWAT team crack down on drug activity in the city
Fargo, North Dakota – Fargo police, alongside the SWAT team, executed a high-risk drug raid on the city’s south side early Tuesday morning, resulting in the detention of three individuals.
Among those detained, 30-year-old Jesse Ware of Fargo was arrested and faces multiple charges. Ware has been charged with Driving Under Suspension, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, marking a significant arrest in the fight against drug-related crimes in the area.
The operation took place around 5 a.m. in the 1600 block of East Gateway Circle. To ensure the safety and success of the raid, Red River Valley SWAT members employed a flash bang device as a diversionary tactic, enabling officers to breach the premises effectively.
While Fargo police have chosen not to release the names of the other individuals detained during the operation, the involvement of the Cass County Drug Task Force underscores the seriousness of the raid and the ongoing efforts to combat drug distribution in the community.
As the investigation continues, Fargo police have indicated that further details will remain confidential for the time being. This operation highlights the ongoing commitment of local law enforcement to address and dismantle illegal drug activities within the city.
